Free of Cost Replacement
In case any component of the motor of a Hunter Ceiling fan fails at any time during the lifetime warranty due to any error in workmanship or any defect in the manufacturing material, customers will be provided with a free of cost substitute component. In case the company is unable to offer the replacement component for the fan motor, the actual cost of purchase of the fan will be refunded.
Free of Cost Repair for 1 Year
In case the motor of the ceiling fan fails at sometime within a span of a year from the date of purchase due to problems in workmanship or any type of defect in material, customers do not need to pay anything for labor costs for repairing the defect at the company’s Service Department in Memphis, Tennessee or the service center of Hunter Ceiling Fans closest to the buyer’s location. After the period of 1 year Hunter ceiling fan warranty is over, the customer will have to pay for the labor expenses.
Only Fan Motor Warranty
It is to be noted that the warranty on Hunter ceiling fan applies only to the motor. It does not extend to transmitters, remote control receivers, remote controls and other electronic controls that are used along with the motor. The warranty for these electric control components are only included in the limited warranty period of 1 year. In case any of the components other than motor, light bulbs or glass globes fail within the 1st year of purchase due to a workmanship error or any material defect, the repair or replacement of the defective component will be done free of cost at the company’s Service Department in Memphis, Tennessee or the service center of Hunter Ceiling Fans closest to the buyer’s location.
What the warranty does not include?
If the Hunter ceiling fan is not bought and utilized in the USA, the warranty is invalidated. The warranty does not include any failures, malfunctions or defects of any ceiling fan from Hunter caused due to repairs done by individuals unauthorized by Hunter and damage, modifications, incorrect installation, mishandling, use of accessories or components unauthorized by the Hunter Company while in the possession of customers. The Hunter ceiling fan warranty also excludes improper use and failure to offer proper and necessary maintenance to the ceiling fan. The Hunter Fan Company cannot be held responsible for any incidental or consequential damages.
